Which subscription tracker works in Kenya?
Mobile money runs daily life but most global services will not accept it. That split is what makes subscriptions here easy to lose track of.
The short answer
Everyday spending here runs through mobile money, which produces an excellent transaction record. Most international subscriptions cannot use that rail and sit on a card instead — a card that may be used for little else. The result is that subscriptions live in the one payment record people check least.

The split that causes the problem
Mobile money handles a large share of daily transactions and leaves a clear, searchable trail. Most people know roughly what they spent last week because the record is right there.
International subscriptions generally cannot use that rail. They sit on a card, and for many people that card exists mostly to pay for subscriptions.
So the payment method you check constantly holds few subscriptions, and the one holding all of them is the one you rarely look at. That is the whole difficulty in a sentence, and it is not a discipline problem.
What follows from it
Check the card statement deliberately. It will not come up in the course of normal life the way the mobile money record does. Twelve months rather than three, because annual subscriptions leave no trace in a shorter window.
Local services may bill on the mobile rail. Some do, and those genuinely appear where you already look. Do not assume every subscription is on the card — check both, once.
A second, dormant card is a common trap. If a card was replaced and some subscriptions migrated while others did not, the ones on the old card are the least visible things in your finances.
The app stores, which are larger here than expected
App-store subscriptions bought on a phone go through Apple or Google and appear on the funding source as a single combined charge with no breakdown.
That combined charge is the single most common blind spot in any market and a larger one where card use is otherwise light — the total looks like one modest payment rather than four separate subscriptions.
iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Android: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Both are free and take a minute each.
Currency and what to record
International services bill in dollars and the shilling amount moves. Store the dollar figure alongside the shilling one, so a price rise is distinguishable from a rate change.
There are no bank-linked subscription trackers serving this market, and it matters less than it sounds — the sources above are all free, authoritative for what they cover, and take about twenty minutes once. A manual list then holds the result across both rails, which no single automated source would do anyway.
Where SubTracker Is the Wrong Tool
You do not know what you are paying for. SubTracker has no bank connection and cannot find a subscription you did not enter. If that is your actual problem, use a bank-linked tool for one audit first — where one is available in your market — and move the list across afterwards.
You want somebody to cancel for you. SubTracker tells you what to cancel and when. The cancelling is yours.
You want fewer than about ten minutes of setup. That is roughly what entering an existing list costs. It buys a tool that never sees your account, which is a trade and not a free lunch.
Getting Started Here
The free plan tracks unlimited subscriptions with no card and no expiry, supports 25 currencies, and imports an existing list from CSV. Renewal reminders and price-change alerts are Plus features; there is no trial, because the free tier is not one.
Nothing about it is market-specific, which in most of the places below is the point: a manual tracker works identically everywhere because it asks no bank for anything.
Stop losing money to forgotten subscriptions
Track unlimited subscriptions free, forever. No card required, no bank connection.

Why are my subscriptions hard to keep track of here?+
Because they sit on a card you may use for little else, while your everyday spending runs through mobile money with a clear record. The payment method you check constantly holds few subscriptions; the one holding all of them is the one you rarely look at.
Can I pay for international subscriptions with mobile money?+
Most global services do not accept it, which is why the subscriptions end up on a card. Some local services do bill on the mobile rail, so check both once rather than assuming everything is in one place.
What is the biggest blind spot?+
App-store subscriptions. They go through Apple or Google and appear on the funding source as one combined charge with no breakdown — so four subscriptions look like one modest payment. Check Settings, your name, Subscriptions on iPhone and Payments and subscriptions in Google Play.
How should I record dollar-billed subscriptions?+
Keep the dollar amount as well as the shilling one. That is what lets you tell a genuine price increase from an exchange-rate movement, which is otherwise guesswork.
