Which subscription tracker works in Poland?

Strong local providers, EU consumer rights, and a złoty–euro–dollar split that makes a single-currency total misleading.

The short answer

Poland has full EU consumer rights, a well-developed domestic payments market, and a currency that is neither the euro nor pegged to it. That last point is the practical one: a household here typically holds subscriptions in three currencies, and adding them up as one number produces a figure that matches nothing.

Three currencies in one household

Domestic services price in złoty. Many European services price in euro. Most software and AI tools price in dollars.

A typical Polish subscription list therefore spans three currencies, only one of which is stable against your income. Adding them as if they were the same unit gives a total that will not match your statements in either direction.

Record each subscription in the currency it is actually charged in, and convert only for the total. That way a price rise stays visible as a price rise rather than blending into exchange-rate movement.

The domestic market is genuinely well served

Polish banking apps are among the more capable in Europe, and several show recurring payments or let you search by merchant directly. That is a free, authoritative source most people never open.

BLIK and domestic payment methods add another rail worth checking for recurring authorisations.

The point worth drawing out: the best tool for finding what you already have may already be installed on your phone, and it is not a subscription tracker. What it does not do is hold the result, spot duplicates or warn you before a renewal — which is a different job.

EU rights apply in full

Poland is in the EU, so the fourteen-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts applies as it does everywhere in the union. That is stronger than a cancellation because it unwinds the contract rather than ending it going forward.

The habit worth forming is the same as elsewhere in the EU: if the subscription is only days old, check withdrawal before you check the cancellation page. Most people go straight to cancelling and give up the stronger option without knowing it was there.

For contested cases, the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the municipal consumer ombudsmen handle these as routine.

The app store gap, as everywhere

Subscriptions bought inside apps bill through Apple or Google and appear on your account as one combined charge with no breakdown. No banking app, however good, can itemise that — the data is not there to itemise.

iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Android: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Two minutes, and consistently the largest single blind spot in any market.

Where SubTracker Is the Wrong Tool

You do not know what you are paying for. SubTracker has no bank connection and cannot find a subscription you did not enter. If that is your actual problem, use a bank-linked tool for one audit first — where one is available in your market — and move the list across afterwards.

You want somebody to cancel for you. SubTracker tells you what to cancel and when. The cancelling is yours.

You want fewer than about ten minutes of setup. That is roughly what entering an existing list costs. It buys a tool that never sees your account, which is a trade and not a free lunch.

Getting Started Here

The free plan tracks unlimited subscriptions with no card and no expiry, supports 25 currencies, and imports an existing list from CSV. Renewal reminders and price-change alerts are Plus features; there is no trial, because the free tier is not one.

Nothing about it is market-specific, which in most of the places below is the point: a manual tracker works identically everywhere because it asks no bank for anything.

Stop losing money to forgotten subscriptions

Track unlimited subscriptions free, forever. No card required, no bank connection.

Frequently asked questions

How should I total subscriptions in three currencies?+

Record each in the currency it is actually charged in and convert only for the total. A typical Polish household holds złoty, euro and dollar subscriptions, and adding them as one unit produces a figure that will not match your statements in either direction.

Do I need a separate tracking app in Poland?+

For finding what you already have, often not — Polish banking apps are among the more capable in Europe and several show recurring payments or let you search by merchant. What they do not do is hold the result, spot duplicates or warn you before a renewal, which is a different job.

What consumer rights apply?+

The full EU framework, including the fourteen-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. It is stronger than cancelling because it unwinds the contract rather than ending it going forward, so check it first if a subscription is only days old.

Why can my banking app not see app store subscriptions?+

Because Apple and Google bill several subscriptions as one combined charge with no breakdown. The data is not there to itemise, however good the app. Check Settings, your name, Subscriptions on iPhone and Payments and subscriptions in Google Play instead.
