How to find your subscriptions on Android and Google Play
Where Google Play lists your subscriptions, how to pause or cancel them, why uninstalling an app does not cancel it, and which subscriptions Google Play never shows.
The short answer
Open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. That list covers everything billed through Google Play. Uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription, and subscriptions paid directly to a company or through PayPal do not appear here at all.

On Android, subscriptions bought inside apps are usually billed through Google Play, and Google keeps one list of them. It is the first place to look and, like Apple’s list, not the last.
The path in the Google Play app
Open Google Play, tap your profile icon in the top corner, tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select a subscription to see its next charge, change its payment method or plan, or cancel it. These are the steps on Google’s own help page for cancelling, pausing and changing subscriptions; labels can shift between app versions, and Google’s page carries the current wording.
Uninstalling does not cancel
Google’s help page says it plainly: when you uninstall the app, the subscription does not cancel. A deleted app with a live subscription is one of the most common ways a charge continues unnoticed. Always cancel in the Subscriptions list, then uninstall.
Pause instead of cancel
Some apps let you pause payments rather than cancel: select the subscription, tap Manage, then Pause payments, and choose how long. The pause starts at the end of the current billing period. It is worth checking for services you use seasonally.
Refunds
If a subscription charged before you cancelled it, Google’s help page on subscriptions links to its refund process for Play purchases. Whether a refund is granted depends on the app and on how long ago the charge was; asking promptly and for an unused period has the best chance.
More than one Google account
The list belongs to the Google account currently selected in Play. If you use several accounts — personal and work, or an old address — switch accounts in Google Play and check each one.
What Google Play does not show
Subscriptions you started on a company’s website, those billed through PayPal, and services bundled with your phone plan never appear in Google Play. Neither do Google services billed directly to a Google account outside Play, which are managed in that account’s payment settings.
Matching a charge on your statement
Charges billed through Google Play usually appear on statements with "Google" followed by the app or developer name. If a line is unclear, open the Google Play order history in the same Payments & subscriptions area and match the date and amount.
Completing the list
Everything outside Google Play is found on statements, in your inbox and in PayPal; see how to find all your subscriptions. If you also use an iPhone or iPad, the iPhone list is separate.
One list across platforms
Google Play, Apple, PayPal and direct card subscriptions each keep their own records. SubTracker puts all of them in one list with renewal dates. SubTracker does not connect to your bank or to Apple, Google, PayPal or Amazon — you add each subscription once yourself, which takes about ten minutes and means nobody else sees your transactions.
