Is Walmart+ worth it?

Walmart+ is a bundle, and bundles are only as valuable as the parts you would otherwise pay for.

Delivery is the core

Free shipping with no order minimum and free same-day grocery delivery on eligible orders are the main benefits. If you order from Walmart often, delivery fees you no longer pay can cover the membership on their own.

If you shop in store and rarely order, the delivery benefit does little for you.

The streaming perk can replace a subscription

Members can choose Paramount+ Essential or Peacock Premium at no extra cost, and switch between them every 90 days. Both are ad-supported plans. If you currently pay for either service directly, that payment is probably redundant — and switching every quarter lets you follow whichever has the content or sport you want.

Fuel and other perks

Fuel discounts at participating stations and other smaller benefits add value if they match your routine. Count only the ones you would use in a normal month.

The Amazon Prime overlap

Many households pay for both Walmart+ and Amazon Prime. If one of them handles most of your orders, the other is often a duplicate. Streaming preferences can decide the tie: Prime includes Prime Video, Walmart+ includes a choice of Paramount+ or Peacock.

Signals it is worth it

You order from Walmart regularly, you would otherwise pay for Paramount+ or Peacock, and you use the fuel discount.
